Gate Crashing

The winds around Prague today are pretty impressive…

Up here, at the top of the damn mountain where we live, they’re destructive as hell!

Our front gate’s auto closing mechanism is busted so we had several yards of telephone cord, Cat 5 cords and bungee cords holding the gates closed. (I know, I know)

Well, the winds saw fit to literaly shred ALL of those cords by blowing the gates apart.

There is wood from the gates in the street, in the yard and luckily our dogs aren’t quite brave enough to make a dash for freedom because the gates (which we discovered when heading into the kitchen for a sandwich) where in the “Girls of Mardi Gras” position when we found them…

Wide open and blowing in the breeze.

Well, we have no more cords or rope to use on the gates…

What to do…what to do….

I know! The old picnic table bench isn’t being use for anything!

It is now!

How this for southern engineering  :)
